DHI hair transplantation method, also known as direct hair transplantation, is considered one of the most advantageous methods due to its short recovery time and the ability to perform many hair transplants in a single session.
Thanks to this method, which aims to thicken and cover the bald area without damaging the hair and healthy follicles in the skin, a denser and more natural-looking hair transplantation is performed. Before the operation, hair follicles are closely examined using high-resolution imaging devices.
The hair type of the person, the condition of healthy hair follicles, the existing hair density and the severity of hair loss, the characteristics of the donor area and the general condition of the area to be transplanted are determined. Then the most suitable hair transplantation is designed and the operation is started under local anaesthesia.

CHOI PEN USED IN DHI HAIR TRANSPLANTATION
The CHOI pen method or DHI method, commonly called
DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) in our country, is a special method in the field of hair transplantation and is a more efficient technique for hair transplantation. This technique, which can be performed without shaving under the right conditions, is known as DHI hair transplantation.
Choi Pen technique uses special equipment designed to further improve hair transplantation and especially to facilitate eyebrow and beard transplantation. This device is pen-shaped and specially designed to make the hair transplantation process more effective.
FUE technique has to shave hair. In DHI technique, it is enough to shave the donor area.
The FUE technique is ideal for planting a larger area, while the DHI method is the ideal method for sowing more frequently.
The recovery time in DHI technique is a little shorter than FUE technique and bleeding is almost negligible.

While the FUE method uses a micromotor device, the DHI method uses a special pen called Choi Pen.
While the FUE technique lasts between 6-8 hours, the DHI method is slightly longer.
FUE is less costly as the equipment used in the DHI method is more costly compared to the FUE method.
